World Rabies Day

Tuesday 28 September is World Rabies Day, designed to raise awareness and understanding about one of the world’s oldest diseases. Led by the Alliance for Rabies Control and supported by numerous organisations worldwide including LSTM, World Rabies Day seeks to reinforce the message that rabies is preventable, despite 55,000 people needlessly dying from the disease each year.
